Shipping Policy
Last updated: August 2026
At Toquilla Straw Hats, we carefully prepare and package each order for shipment. We offer shipping to destinations available during checkout.
Please review the following information before placing your order.
1. Order Processing
Orders are normally prepared for shipment after payment has been successfully received.
Processing times may vary depending on order volume, product availability, holidays, weekends, or other circumstances.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive available tracking information associated with your shipment.
2. Shipping Times
Shipping times displayed or communicated at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on the destination, shipping carrier, customs processing, weather, holidays, transportation conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, weather, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control do not constitute a failure to fulfill the order.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated or displayed at checkout based on the destination, shipping method, package characteristics, and other applicable factors.
Shipping costs are separate from the product price unless expressly stated otherwise.
The customer is responsible for the shipping charges associated with the order shown at checkout.
4. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Other Destination Charges
For international orders, the customer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, handling charges, and any other charges imposed by the destination country or its authorities.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
Toquilla Straw Hats does not control these charges and cannot determine in advance the amount that customs authorities may require.
Customers are responsible for complying with the import requirements of their destination country.
5. Customs Clearance
Some international shipments may require additional information or documentation from the customer in order to complete customs clearance.
The customer is responsible for promptly providing any information required by the shipping carrier or customs authorities.
Failure to provide the required information or complete the customs process may result in delays, additional charges, or the return or abandonment of the shipment.
6. Refused, Abandoned, or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is refused, abandoned, or cannot be delivered because of:
- An incorrect or incomplete shipping address.
- Failure to collect the package.
- Failure to complete customs clearance.
- Failure to pay applicable customs duties or taxes.
- Refusal to accept the shipment.
- Any other action or omission by the customer.
the customer may be responsible for any resulting shipping, return shipping, customs, storage, brokerage, handling, or other charges.
Refusing a shipment does not constitute an order cancellation and does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund.
7. Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.
Please carefully verify your shipping information before completing checkout.
Once an order has been submitted, shipping information cannot be changed or modified.
If an order cannot be delivered because incorrect or incomplete information was provided by the customer, any additional shipping or other charges may be the customer's responsibility.
8. Orders Already in Transit
Once an order has been shipped and is in transit, it cannot be cancelled, modified, recalled, or redirected at the customer's request.
Customers should monitor their tracking information and cooperate with the shipping carrier when necessary.
9. Delivery Delays
Although we work with shipping providers to facilitate timely delivery, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.
Delivery may be delayed due to circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Customs inspections.
- Customs clearance.
- Weather conditions.
- Transportation disruptions.
- Carrier delays.
- Holidays.
- Incorrect or incomplete address information.
- Local delivery conditions.
- Government or regulatory requirements.
Such delays are outside our control.
10. Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your package appears to have been lost or arrives damaged, please contact us promptly through our Contact page and provide your order number and relevant photographs or tracking information.
We will review the situation and, where appropriate, work with the shipping carrier to determine the next steps.
If the hat itself arrives damaged or defective, please also refer to our Return and Refund Policy for information about reporting the issue.
11. Delivery Confirmation
Once the shipping carrier's tracking system indicates that a package has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, the shipment will generally be considered delivered.
If you cannot locate a package marked as delivered, please contact the shipping carrier first and then contact us so that we can assist where possible.
12. International Orders
International customers should be aware that delivery procedures, customs requirements, taxes, and import regulations vary by country.
Before ordering, customers are responsible for determining whether the destination country permits the importation of the product and for understanding any applicable customs requirements or charges.
Toquilla Straw Hats is not responsible for restrictions, duties, taxes, or other requirements imposed by the destination country.
13. Contact Us
